The cottage is set all on the ground floor and is ideal for a family or friends wishing for a complete escape away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. A well-equipped kitchen includes a dining table, so guests can keep the chef of the party company whilst preparing a delicious meal. The cosy and comfortable sitting room boasts a woodburning stove, perfect for snuggling up in front of on a chilly winter’s night. The rear garden is a delightful place to relax and gaze out across the fields, and to the side of the cottage a picnic table has been provided for dining alfresco.There are several sandy beaches within easy reach and walkers are catered for with a variety of forest and coastal walks. Camphill’s proximity to the Galloway Forest Park means that cyclists can enjoy the renowned 7stanes mountain bike trails. The historic town of Kirkcudbright, opening to the Solway Firth, is known as “The Artists’ Town” and has always held an attraction for artists over the years. The working harbour is a popular tourist attraction, as are the many festivals and events that run throughout the year.
