The cottage is also only a 10 minute walk from the wonderful sandy beach perfect for long walks, building sand castles and taking a dip. The next village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is a mile down the road where there are two pubs, cafes, a garage, shop and local butchers and also a Post Office for sending the post card! The bustling seaside town of Barmouth is under five minutes’ drive away where there are plenty of shops, bars, activities and sites to see and enjoy. There are some amazing walks from the door and Cwm Nantcol, Cwm Bychan and the Roman Steps up to the well-known Rhinog mountain range are all close by. The beaches along this stretch of the North Wales coastline are beautiful with miles and miles of sandy shores and there are many cycling trails to enjoy. This fantastic location also boasts good golf courses and medieval castles such as Harlech Castle just four miles away. This cottage is wonderful for a get away-from-it-all break and an ideal base to explore this part of North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park any time of year.
