Fabulous walks can be found nearby, stretching across Wenlock Edge and on to Church Stretton with breathtaking views across the Long Mynd, home to grazing sheep and local wild ponies. A day spent exploring the World Heritage Sites around Ironbridge with its iconic iron bridge and its many museums is a must, as is a trip to Ludlow, with its wealth of interesting architecture, castle, 13th century church, racecourse and riverside walks. A lovely Shropshire base.
