    Camellia Cottage is a semi-detached cottage located just out of Bowness-on-Windermere in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria. Presented to a lovely standard, this cottage is perfect for a family or friends who wish to enjoy the vibrant lakeside town of Bowness. From the front door you enter the sitting room with dining area which has a lovely woodburning stove. From here there is a gallery-style kitchen. Upstairs there are two lovely bedrooms, a king-sized double with en-suite shower room, a twin room and a spacious family bathroom. One of the nicest aspects of Camellia Cottage is the charming garden which has a lawned area and a patio. From the garden, and from the upstairs windows, you can catch a glimpse of the fells beyond. The shores of Lake Windermere are approx. 8 minutes walk from the cottage, whilst in Bowness-on-Windermere there are lots of lovely restaurants and shops to enjoy. Why not cross Lake Windermere on the car ferry and explore the quieter side of the lake? The pretty Lakeland villages of Hawkshead and Far & Near Sawrey are a must. Where you can visit Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter, and see the garden which inspired her to create some of her famous characters including Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck. Wherever you go in the beautiful corner of the Lake District you will always find stunning scenery to enjoy at any time of the year.
