After relaxing inside, why not step into the gardens when the sun is shining and make the most of your surroundings. You will be spoiled for choice during your stay, with the city of Aberdeen accessible from Stonehaven by train, bus or car and whiskey trails nearby. Travel to the famous Dunnottar Castle on the land train tour from Stonehaven’s Market Square, or spend a day exploring the museums including infamous Peterhead Prison Museum. For those who love the outdoors, mountains, hills, Lochs and Glens with all levels of walking and hiking, bird watching, National Parks, Royal Deeside, berry farms, beautiful beaches and dolphin watching trips are in the surrounding area.
