Spend some time in the cosy garden which overlooks the church, a nice place to unwind; and the village’s main claim to fame is the superb Waterfalls’ Walk which is located just across the street, near the excellent chip shop. The well-known White Scar Caves and Ingleborough are just over a mile away. An excellent location from which to uncover the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. A good range of amenities are on hand, and there’s also a year-round climbing wall, as well as a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool in a riverside setting. There are 2 pubs a few steps away, The Wheatsheaf and The Old Post Office along with a Tapas restaurant, Indian takeaway and a Co-op store. A pleasant getaway not to be missed.
