    More Information

Below the striking Dartmoor landmark of Haytor is this semi-detached cottage, close to the small village of Haytor Vale. With amazing views as far as the sea, this is a wonderful place for walking, cycling and touring the magnificent scenery. Head up the steps to the front door and through the hall you will find two downstairs oak-floored bedrooms with a bathroom. The big airy sitting room with characterful beams is upstairs for those absorbing views, together with a kitchen fitted in oak and black granite with a dining area. The grassy garden opposite the cottage faces south and has a picnic table for alfresco meals, and you can store bikes in a garage. The focal point of this friendly cottage is clearly the surrounding moorland which is perfect for enjoying the great outdoors and gazing at the panoramic views. Welcoming little towns and villages like Bovey Tracey and Widecombe-in-the-Moor have plenty of eateries and places of interest to explore. Ludgate Cottage is a fine place for discovering Dartmoor and Devon’s countryside.
