Fuel and power incl in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. 1 Cot and 1 highchair available on request. Off-road parking for two cars. Patio with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Strictly no smoking. Shops and pub 1 mile. Note: The owners live in the farmhouse some 30 yards from the property. The main road is 20 yards from the front door, a quiet road but expect a little noise at peak times.
    The cottage is on the owners small holding and therefore friendly farm dogs and free range chickens roaming freely. Please note: There is a 7kw charging point for electrical cars available – There is a supplement charge which will be paid directly to the owner if this product is used.

    A beautifully converted lower section of an old threshing barn, forming part of the owner’s smallholding, just over a mile from Sedbergh in the Rawthay Valley. Renovated superbly, this first-class holiday home provides excellent holiday accommodation for all groups, from couples wishing to spend time on their own, two friends or small families looking to visit this outstanding area. The current owners have paid a great deal of care and attention to making sure this lovely holiday home combines the best in modern living with glimpses of its historical past, a great mix of old and new pervades throughout the accommodation. Boskins takes its name form the old cattle dividers used in the lower section of the barn which have been incorporated into the overall design. A host of other features, the old beams and exposed stonework all combine with the modern fittings and underfloor heating to make this Sedbergh cottage a very special place to spend a holiday. The main living area is spacious and comfortable with a dining area, exposed stone walls and a beamed ceiling making this a great room to relax and unwind. The master bedroom with luxurious super king-size bed and modern en-suite facility benefits from full-length feature windows overlooking the patio, a feature exposed stonework wall running down the entire length of the room and a beamed ceiling. The main kitchen is well-equipped and beautifully crafted with a great combination of modern units amongst old beams and stonework, a great place to indulge your culinary skills. The second bedroom provides a spacious twin bedroom which can easily be changed to provide a second super king-size and also benefits from a lovely en-suite. Outside the property is a wash room with a dog shower, a handy addition after a long day out in the nearby Howgill range. A lovely patio with garden furniture provides a great place to sit, enjoy a drink and dine alfresco. With excellent walking right from the cottage door, a wonderful river walk, hikers will be spoilt for choice. The historic village of Dent is just five miles away and has cobbled streets and quaint cottages famous for its Dent Knitters. This Sedbergh cottage is perfectly placed to explore both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks.
