Mawgan Porth is well known for its spectacular scenery and phenomenal coastline, so it is essential you explore its dog-friendly beach, and for some light lunch, take a trip to Catch Seafood, Bar & Grill and Beach Box Mawgan Porth nearby, as well as Watergate Bay.Both beaches have surf schools, places to hire surfboards & wetsuits and enjoy Cornish pasties. If there is a westerly wind (onshore at Watergate), Harlyn Bay is usually better for a surf. There is a lovely walk to Mawgan Porth beach along a footpath (about 2 miles).Out of the house, turn right up the hill, then left down the hill and then straight over the road to get to the start of the path. A short drive will bring you to the coastal town of Newquay, home to golden sandy beaches, where you can visit, Newquay beach and Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay, for animal lovers, Pirate’s Quest Adventure Golf, to get some golfing practice in, and of course, don’t forget to adventure to Newquay beach.
