The Farmhouse was built in the 18th century and would have been around in Poldark times, in fact one of its tenants was a Mine Captain. While retaining plenty of its traditional character with modern necessities it is an eclectic, comfortable cottage which looks out to sea on one side and country moorland on the other. This is a heart-warming and homely base for friends and families alike to come and stay. The cosy sitting room is truly inviting you to put your feet up at the end of the day, by the warmth of an electric wood burning stove and offering a TV with a DVD player – just perfect for those family nights in. The kitchen/diner is dominated by its stunning Inglenook fireplace which hosts a wood burning stove, as well as an excellent range of appliances to make preparing those tasty home-cooked meals that bit easier. Also on the ground floor lies the large family bathroom with an over bath shower. The three bedrooms offer a choice of sleeping arrangements; a double, a twin and a single all on the first floor adopting pleasing views and charming layouts to give you a peaceful spot to get your sleep. A fourth bedroom has been made into a snug/office where the children can play their games or you can catch up on your emails. To the outside of your home-from-home, discover an enclosed, lawned garden, where you can sit and eat or just read. The village is a short walk along a country lane where you can discover the delights of Pendeen – this friendly village hosts a choice of charming pubs, village store and fish and chip shop, and the Mining museum reminds you that this was once a industrial area far reaching out across the world.
