    More Information

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, in the Wensleydale village of West Witton, is number 10 Old School Close. With access to the Wensleydale Hiefer gastro pub, just a 2-minute walk away and the Yorkshire Dales right on the doorstep, enjoy a well-earned holiday to go as a couple or for small families. The entrance hall leads through to the living room, which is flooded by natural light streaming through the bay window. Wrap yourselves around the warmth of the open fire and use the dining space to eat your home cooked meals at. The ground floor is complete with a nicely appointed kitchen to the rear and a cloakroom. Upstairs the master bedroom boasts a king-size double bed with views over the stone-built village and the twin (zip/link) bedroom overlooks the cul-de-sac. This is the ideal setup for families, couples and friends alike. They are both served by the family bathroom, where you can refresh under the shower after a day exploring the luscious green countryside and surrounding fells. The exterior of this cottage benefits off-road parking, a small, enclosed front garden and a rear, enclosed patio, where you can sit out on a warm summer’s evening with your favourite tipple. West Witton enjoys two pubs, one of which is award-winning, along with a well-appointed shop and verdant green. The commanding ruins of Bolton Castle tower over the surrounding Dales, on the northern fringes of the village. And nearby, Aysgarth Falls offer lovely woodland walks and cascading waters. There is so much to see and do in the area, making this an excellent base to choose for your next walking holiday in North Yorkshire.
