Surrounded by extensive communal grounds, there are two lakes, picnic areas and a host of outdoor activities to enjoy, including tennis, bike hire and fishing. The long, safe and sandy beach is truly wonderful, stretching for miles and ideal for children and four legged friends, whilst the quaint traditional seaside town of Filey offers two fine promenades, pretty ornamental gardens and a unique coble landing where boats are launched. Go crabbing in the rock pools, take a bracing cliff top walk on the Brigg or just relax by the sea. If you have time, there are a wealth of nearby attractions, including Bempton RSPB Reserve, the stately homes of Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall and the rolling countryside of the Wolds to explore. A splendid base for a varied holiday, anytime of the year.
