There is a cafe at Sandsfoot Castle just across the road and within easy walking distance you will find a pub and convenience store for all your needs.
Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle are a short drive to the East if you want to explore further afield, Chesil Beach, Burton Bradstock, West Bay and Bridport are to the West all offering sights and views along the gorgeous World Heritage Jurassic coastline. In summer take a ride with a double-decked Jurassic coaster bus which will take you through the most iconic places in Dorset from Poole to Axminster in Devon.
With shallow waters and views over Portland Harbour the ‘almost secret’ sandy beach at the end of the road is the perfect setting to spend the day with the children and dogs playing together.
