Allow the designated chef to get to grips in the kitchen, utilising a number of appliances to prepare a delicious meal, while the rest of the group can set the dining table with crockery and cutlery, popping open a bottle of fizz in the process. After a satisfying feast, curl up on the sofa and tune into the TV or challenge each other to a family board game. The Peak Wildlife Park, with its range of birds and small animals, is within striking distance, along with the picturesque Churnet Valley where you can catch the steam train and ride through Staffordshire’s hidden valley and moorlands.
