A charming mid-terraced cottage situated in the picturesque village of Oakamoor, a real home-away-from-home in a honeypot location. Ideally suited for couples or travellers, this retreat is a promising choice, should you wish to get away for a while. A wonderful terrace private garden leads up to the property, where you will be greeted by a warm and cosy living area, perfect for relaxing at your own leisure in front of the open fire. A dining table for four people is a nice addition to the room, ideal for a home-cooked meal before settling down on the sofa with your loved ones. Continue through to the kitchen, modernised with neutral colours, and stocked with everything you need to prepare those appetising refreshments in comfort. The bedrooms are both located on the first floor, each presented as fashionable doubles with a zip and link option for flexibility. Lastly, a family bathroom complements the interior, showcasing a roll-top bath with a walk-in shower, so you can get ready in style from one day to the next. Wander outside to the gardens for some fresh air, the raised patio is a pleasant choice, a lovely little suntrap from early morning until sunset, the patio furniture is an ideal place to sit with a cold drink for some time away from it all. Woodland walks and cycle tracks start immediately outside the cottage, and is an ideal base for walkers, ramblers, cyclists and nature lovers. At the centre of the village is a traditional pet friendly pub with a furnished beer garden overlooking the river Churnet. Alongside the river is a grassed area near to the road access to the cottage. Set between the lovely market towns of Ashbourne and Leek both of which feature an array of delightful antique stores, independent shops, markets, and a great selection of restaurants. Historic attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Sudbury Hall, Calke Abbey and Shugborough Hall, with the many fantastic Peak District Villages are certainly worth a visit.
