Travelling a little further afield from the cottage and you can check out towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Woodbridge and Saxmundham, which all offer an excellent range of shops and eateries. If you want a bit of adventure then jump in the car and head to Bewilderwood, Go Ape Thetford and Ellough Park Racing Circuit or for something a little more sedate, take a trip to Framlingham Castle, Somerleyton Hall, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Glemham Hall. Other great beaches nearby include Aldeburgh, Orford, Walberswick and Dunwich. 17 South Green is a hidden holiday gem in the heart of Southwold.
