Outside this charming cottage is a pretty gravelled seating area. Tideswell is a limestone village and makes an ideal base for walking, cycling and climbing. Take a stroll around the village with its array of good pubs, individual curiosity shops and cafes, or enjoy the gentle walks taking in the local ancient history. The spa town of Buxton is just a short drive from your holiday cottage and the beautiful historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are well worth a visit.
