You are welcome to explore the 10 acres of surrounding heath and woodland and enjoy the wildlife (excellent birdwatching) with walks which are cut through organic wildflower meadows (picnic tables) and an ancient cider orchard, and a footpath meanders beside a river to Cotleigh. The cottages are smart and modern with high ceilings and Velux windows, some original beams and oak floors and each has a suntrap deck behind for enjoying peaceful valley views and soothing birdsong. 2 Shippen Cottages has a porch which leads you through stable doors into your airy open plan living space with leather sofas and TV in the seating area, dining area and a well equipped kitchen. French windows open out to a sunny deck area with outdoor furniture. There’s a choice of two bedrooms here, a twin and a double, both en suite and smart with charming views over the valley.
