This traditional, whitewashed, end-terrace cottage is situated in the tiny hamlet of Hannakin, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of the quaint village of Hawkshead and six miles from the bustling town of Ambleside. Grizedale Forest and visitor centre is just 10 minutes’ drive away whilst Hill Top, home of Beatrix Potter, is 2.5 miles away and Lake Windermere lies just a little further. This beautiful part of the Lake District offers endless footpaths and bridleways to explore right from the cottage doorstep, or take the twenty minute walk to Grizedale Forest. After a long day enjoying the beautiful scenery, hurry home to your cosy cottage, put your feet up by the fire, enjoy the stunning views from the sitting room window and plan tomorrow’s great adventure.
