    More Information

This lovely mid-terrace house dates back to the roaring 1920s and sits in a quiet road in the coastal town of Scarborough, Britain’s first seaside resort. With North Bay a pleasant 10 minute stroll away and the delightful Peasholm Park even closer, this lovely property is perfect for a family seaside getaway. There are three bedrooms, accommodating up to five guests, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room and a sitting room. There is also a first floor WC and a ground floor shower room. This is a great house for entertaining, so why not cook up a family meal to remember? Alternatively, eat out at one of Scarborough’s huge choice of restaurants, bistros and, of course, that great British tradition, fish and chip shops. Scarborough has two bays, each with its own distinct character, and dividing the two is Scarborough Castle, standing sentinel on a massive promontory of rock, rising above the North Sea. Scarborough boasts a water park, with a mix of thrills for adrenaline junkies, including an enormous wave pool erupting metre-high waves, and a relaxing infinity pool and luxury spa – fun for all the family. Further up the coast are Whitby and a handful of pretty bays with red-roofed cottages built in mellow Yorkshire stone. Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay are just perfect for nostalgic pastimes such as rock pooling and building sandcastles. Visitors to this delightful coastline will be captivated by the beautiful sandy beaches – once visited you will want to return time and time again.
