Nearby beaches include the picturesque Compton Beach with plenty of rock pools and fossils to discover, and Alum Bay Pebble Beach, where you can follow the path or take a cable car to the shoreline. Elsewhere on the island, you’ll find the coastal towns of Yarmouth, Cowes, and Ryde, whilst the must-see sights of Carisbrooke Castle, Newport Roman Villa, and the Isle of Wight coastal path are all within easy reach.
