5 Exe Street enjoys a prominent position in the heart of Topsham, on the outer fringes of Exeter. Located on the edge of the river Exe, this charming terraced cottage is set over three floors and is the perfect choice for a family or a group of friends.
The open-plan living space has been lovingly renovated by the owner with a blend of modern and vintage furniture, pale blue walls and cream tiled floors, making the room feel bright and welcoming. Prepare an evening meal or a hearty breakfast in the pristine and well-equipped modern kitchen (or choose from one of the local restaurants in Topsham). The smart TV includes a Netflix account, and the Bluetooth speaker/CD player, selection of board games and DVDs will keep you entertained during the evening.
Just off the hallway, you’ll find a WC and washing machine/tumble dryer.
On the first floor, there’s a double bedroom with a king size bed and a single room, each with pocket-sprung mattresses and a shared family bathroom.
On the top floor there is a further cosy single room with a day bed and TV, where you can catch a glimpse of the estuary. Take your dining experience outdoors to the enclosed patio courtyard or soak up the sun with a refreshing drink in hand.
Topsham is an excellent base for exploring this wonderful part of Devon, and holds a selection of eateries, well-worth visiting during your trip. The Salutation Inn is just a short walk from the cottage. The open air swimming pool (summer opening) and the river are nearby for those who enjoy bird watching, walking or boating.
Travel into the thriving city of Exeter where you can explore the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, Exeter Cathedral, or the Underground Passages. 5 Exe Street is perfectly located to enjoy the delights of Topsham, Exeter, stunning Dartmoor or the glorious Devon coastline.
