A charming mid-terrace cottage in the heart of the village of Symonds Yat, overlooking the River Wye and Symonds Yat Rock in the Wye Valley. The delightful, light and airy cottage offers stunning views from the front of the property and is ideal for a get together with family and friends in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The quality of the cottage is evident as you enter with sumptuous seating in the sitting room and a coal-effect electric fire, which leads through to a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, ideal for relaxing over a coffee and planning the day’s activities. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom. Doors from the kitchen lead to the rear private courtyard garden which comes complete with furniture and BBQ, perfect for enjoying the delights of alfresco dining on a summer’s evening. The shared, landscaped gardens offer different seating areas which are ideal for enjoying the quiet tranquillity of the area with a book or a picnic. Why not take a stroll to the river ferry, cross the River Wye and enjoy a refreshing drink in the pub on the opposite bank? Many fabulous walks and cycle trails can be enjoyed from the doorstep of the cottage, or try your hand at one of the many outdoor activities on offer in the Forest of Dean and on the River Wye. Visit the riverside towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, both offering unique shops, tea rooms and traditional pubs in idyllic settings. A wonderful holiday cottage to be enjoyed at any time of year.
