For train enthusiasts the Ffestiniog Steam Railway is close by, and can be heard as it passes by behind the cottage. Zip World Titan and Caverns, the longest 4-man zip in Europe, and Bounce Below, an underground trampolining experience, and the magnificent slate caverns at Llechwedd, are also nearby. There really is something for everyone. The North Wales coast is easily accessible too, and other attractions such as Portmeirion with its Italianate village and gardens, and many historic castles are just a short drive away.
