Sitting on the outskirts of the seaside town of Yarmouth with its pretty harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs is this light and airy bungalow, 8 Munday Cottages.
This well-equipped cottage is situated on West Bay, a quiet holiday park with well-maintained gardens and green open areas. The cottage itself enjoys a nice outlook and has open-plan living space to socialise with your guests and a front patio to dine alfresco in the warmer months. It has two large airy bedrooms, a king size and a twin, a large walk-in shower room and a separate toilet.
A few steps away is a free car park and West Bay itself is on the main bus route between Yarmouth and Freshwater. The tourist buses also run past West Bay entrance.
A short stroll will lead you to Fort Victoria Country Park where you can explore the beach and woodland and picnic by the sea, maybe even get breakfast right by the water’s edge.
West Bay is located close to several sandy and pebble beaches, Colwell Bay and Totland Bay are good for swimming, have cafes and restaurants and stunning sunsets.
There is much history on the Isle of Wight, visit Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House or one of the many manor houses. For the children there are adventure parks, animal centres and many playparks.
Walking enthusiasts will love the miles of scenic footpaths along riversides and over downs, the Island is famed for its walking and cycling festivals. Nearby Needles Headland and Tennyson Down gives unbeatable walks and views.
