A superb stone-built, 18th century terraced cottage tucked away on a quiet lane in the centre of the lovely village of Waddington, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. Set out over three floors, the cottage has been furnished and styled to a very good standard, ideal for couples and small families wishing to get away from it all and enjoy this lovely corner of the Ribble Valley. This delightful cottage has character and charm throughout, featuring a bright and spacious ground floor kitchen/diner, a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove, two lovely bedrooms and a modern shower room. With original ceiling beams, stone fireplace, sash windows and contemporary styling this is a holiday home of some merit. Accessed from the kitchen extension is a cobbled stone patio. Only a few minutesÂ’ walk away are three outstanding and very much competing Gastro pubs, renowned throughout the area for their excellent service and fine dining. Waddington also has a babbling brook and beautiful Coronation Gardens. Close by is Clitheroe with its Norman Castle and a market thatÂ’s held three times a week, and superb walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the area. Within driving distance are many places of interest, including Skipton and the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, the seaside resorts of Blackpool and Southport and the cities of Manchester and Liverpool. A wonderful holiday home in a great location.
