The ‘Bill’ at the tip of the Island is a favourite local beauty spot, where a visit to The Lighthouse Visitors Centre is worth taking. Choice of dinner at The Lobster Pot for a tasty portion of Fish and Chips or for a more pub food spot is The Pulpit Inn. The gateway to the Jurassic Coast is only a five-minute drive away. Weymouth’s golden sands lie approximately seven miles from Alpen Rose and a regular bus service offers an alternative to the car if desired.
