If you are tempted to climb a few Munros then Alvey House is within one hours drive of over 50 Munros and just 30 minutes away is the CairnGorm Mountain, a skiers paradise. If you prefer some wildlife watching then Insh Marshes is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and ospreys, hen harriers and many more birds can be regularly seen.
