At Anvil Cottage you’re just a short drive from the banks of Lake Windermere and Esthwaite Water, making this the ideal location for keen walkers and cyclists with plenty of challenging mountain bike trails in the vicinity. Coniston and Hawkeshead are nearby, so don’t miss a trip to the Drunken Duck, the Lake District’s original gastropub and microbrewery. Don’t miss a scenic boat cruise on Lake Windermere or take a day trip to the Keswick Adventure Centre for canoeing, climbing and abseiling.
