The cosy sitting room is in the 17th century part of the cottage and makes a great place to sit and relax while the open plan living area is ideal for those summer days as the external doors can be opened so you can enjoy the birdlife in the garden. The open plan area has a very well equipped kitchen and a dining area for a romantic dinner or just sit and relax as you plan the day’s activities. Outside the cottage garden provides a great place to unwind and forget the helter-skelter of everyday life. Many lovely walks and cycle rides can be enjoyed from the doorstep of the cottage – head up Bredon Hill, one of England’s Marilyns, to Parson’s Folly where panoramic views of Malvern Hills, Vale of Evesham and Severn Valley can be enjoyed. Look out for the Elephant Stone too! The Wychavon Way and Shakespeare’s Avon Way both pass close by. A range of amenities can be found at Pershore and Tewkesbury, whilst the Regency spa town of Cheltenham is also within easy reach and worthy of a day trip.
