More information

Nestled in the quaint coastal village of Morfa Nefyn, just paces away from a sandy beach, is this 1940s detached cottage, Arddol. This property is within easy reach from amenities and offers a large lawn, making it an idyllic stay for a family of six. Park up on the private driveway before heading inside to the entrance hallway; remove your shoes and hang your jackets, ready for exploring. To the right, discover the contemporary kitchen/diner, certain to entice the chef of the group with its electric oven and hob, as well as dining seating to enjoy tucking into the meals. Moving through the home, find the sitting room with a corner sofa to sprawl on as the Smart TV does the entertaining. After a day exploring, make use of the utility room to wash your hiking gear and freshen up in the cloakroom. As eyes grow heavy, retire upstairs, where a family bathroom offers a tub for a warm escape and a walk-in shower for a refreshing rinse. The first-floor hosts three beautifully presented bedrooms, choose between two doubles and a single, with lamps for some bedtime reading. Begin your day wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea on the sandy beach and in the afternoon enjoy fresh fish and chips from Sglods Gwen’s Chippy or take on the hilly course of Clwb Golff Nefyn Golf Club. Venture into the bustling market town of Pwllheli, home to a fine, yachting spot, Hafan Pwllheli Marina, and Traeth Marian-y-de Beach, which boasts splendid scenery. Visit the pretty village of Abersoch to enjoy beachfront eateries, pony-trekking along the coast and thrilling watersports activities. Whisk your loved ones to Arddol for a much-needed break.
