This cosy, dog-friendly cottage is a great choice for families, along with cyclists and walkers as the Pennine Way meanders close by. You can also enjoy a soak in the bath after a day spent walking and exploring the magnificent countryside. Langthwaite is one of very few villages in Arkengarthdale and is also one of the most northerly settlements in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Langthwaite is well known for featuring in All Creatures Great and Small, and eight miles away is the world famous Tan Hill Inn, which is Britain’s highest public inn at 1732 feet above sea level. Close by is the charming market town of Reeth, home to some of the region’s finest arts and crafts, and within driving distance are the towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle.
