The entrance can be found up several steps which lead into a porch/utility area with plenty of room for coats and boots. Look forward to unwinding in the spacious L-shaped living/dining room, complete with a beamed ceiling and a large picture window to allow plenty of light in, as well as a plush seating arrangement in front of a woodburning stove and TV for those cosy nights on the sofa. The field surrounding the house belongs to the property and can also be safely utilised although usually grazed by sheep, so you are free to roam and explore your lovely surroundings. Wander into the village of Braithwaite, where your closest shop, pubs and restaurants are a short walk away, and you will be immersed into dramatic mountains, glittering lakes and picturesque scenery. Walks from the door take in some of the high tops including Grasmoor and Grisedale Pike whilst you can enjoy a gentler ramble along nearby winding country lanes. The tranquil Lake Derwentwater is an easy drive away and offers cruises and lake hopping services to make the most of the fantastic Keswick area. Alternatively, take a drive or scenic bus journey and visit Cockermouth, Grasmere and Ambleside further afield, before returning to the comfort of Bandol for an evening of relaxing and rejuvenation.
