This 250-year-old, three-story stone-built cottage, Barton Cottage, is located in the centre of charming Bourton-On-The-Water in Gloucestershire. Explore your surroundings and treat your loved ones to a dinner out; you’ll be spoiled for choice with the range of pubs and restaurants in the centre of Bourton-On-The-Water, or there’s The Mousetrap Inn, which is just a stone’s throw from the cottage. Make your way to the high-street for a variety of boutique shops and the charming Model Village, which is a great place to spend an afternoon. Walkers will appreciate the local Windrush path, which travels along the Windrush River, while bird watchers should visit Jurassic Journey. Outside of the village, the National Trust’s Chedworth Roman Villa, an old estate of 4th-century ruins with a museum, may be found. Animal lovers can travel further south to see the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, or if you plan ahead of time, you will be in a prime location for visiting Cheltenham Racecourse and the famed Cheltenham Festival.
