This cottage is a great location for a trip to the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with character features such as beams and exposed stone, and facilities just a short walk away. When you arrive, there is a rear, fenced garden with a bistro set where you may have a cup of tea in the mornings. Inside, the kitchen, dining area, and sitting areas combine to provide a social centre for your company, with all you need for a relaxing, self-catering getaway, including a well-equipped cooking space and dining table for four. After supper, gather around the woodburning stove and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. After unwinding with your loved ones, go upstairs to the bedrooms; the first floor has a light and airy twin and a contemporary bathroom, while the second storey has a king-size bed with a vaulted ceiling. Make your way to the high-street for a variety of boutique shops and the charming Model Village, which is a great place to spend an afternoon. Walkers will appreciate the local Windrush path, which travels along the Windrush River, while bird watchers should visit Jurassic Journey. Outside of the village, the National Trust’s Chedworth Roman Villa, an old estate of 4th-century ruins with a museum, may be found. Animal lovers can travel further south to see the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, or if you plan ahead of time, you will be in a prime location for visiting Cheltenham Racecourse and the famed Cheltenham Festival. Gloucester is also easily accessible from the cottage for shopping, culture, and more hustle and bustle if you prefer too! Choose Barton Cottage for a quiet retreat or a fun-filled getaway.
