Take a stroll along the sandy beach backed by the promenade and the famous Victorian pier or explore the good selection of restaurants and plenty of shops and cafes to enjoy. For younger ones, this is seaside heaven, with a children’s play park with water fountains in the summer months and skate park. Further afield there’s a host of family friendly attractions including Paignton Zoo, Splash Down Quay West and of course some of the best beaches in the region.
