A superb luxurious annexe attached to the owners property in the pretty coastal village of Flamborough, four miles from Bridlington seaside resort. Furnished to the highest of standards, it makes the perfect retreat for couples wanting a peaceful break in a beautiful part of the country. The private entrance is on the ground floor, with stairs leading up to the spacious sitting room, with bifolding doors opening onto a decked veranda, affording fine views over open countryside – a wonderful spot to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down! With a modern contemporary feel, the comfortable seating is set around a cosy woodburning stove. The small quality kitchen has all you need, along with granite worktops and a breakfast bar. From the sitting room a stylish staircase with glass balustrade leads up to the tasteful double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and glass doors opening onto a balcony, again with lovely vistas over the fields and distant sea views. A short stroll brings you to the village centre with a small selection of shops and local inns. Flamborough is ideal for bird watchers and walkers, with long bracing walks along the cliff tops, which are 750 metres from the cottage, and nearby Bempton RSPB Reserve. There are spectacular cliffs which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline and small coves and smugglers caves at North and South Landing. Enjoy a pleasant woodland walk to the beach at Danes Dyke and admire the wild deer, owls and kestrels often seen on the way. The larger resorts of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey are close by as are the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. Further afield, you could take a trip to the beautiful historic city of York and the pretty market town of Beverley. Don’t forget the golf courses nearby for the golfing fanatics in your party. A well placed holiday home for an indulgent break.
