Take some time out with a trip to the local pub, The Ysgethin Inn, or venture slightly further for a meal out at the nearby restaurants, Nineteen57 or The Sands Bar, when you don’t feel like cooking. A stroll or a short drive will take you to the beach, for a day of paddling, running, or simply relaxing with a good book. Heading up the coast towards Harlech, you can find the fascinating Llanfair Slate Caverns, for an afternoon out, as well as the grand ruins of Harlech Castle. In the opposite direction lies Barmouth, known for its harbour and home to a good selection of pubs, restaurants and coastal walks to enjoy with your four-legged friends. For a wealth of outdoor activity, the Snowdonia National Park can be reached by car, where you can find an abundance of hiking trails, watersports, and cycling opportunities amongst stunning scenery.
