Belfry Cottage, a delightful and extremely, well-presented, three-bedroom cottage situated in the heart of Colyton, in East Devon.

Sleeping up to six guests, this pet-friendly retreat is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideal for those wishing to enjoy this beautiful part of the county with popular beaches, seaside towns, and the dramatic UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast close by.

Located in a quiet and pretty street, this cottage has been recently renovated and offers a bright and spacious interior with stylish furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. The open-plan living area is a welcoming and sociable space with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for creating meals that the family can enjoy. The sitting area is a relaxing area with a characterful fireplace and electric flame-effect stove, giving the room a snug feel and making it the perfect retreat during the cooler months. Here, you can cosy up with your loved ones in front of the Smart TV for a movie marathon.

Heading upstairs you will find the three bedrooms, two spacious king-size bedrooms, and a bunk bedroom. The family bathroom with p-shaped bath and shower over is also located on this floor.

When weather permits, step out from the dining area patio doors to the pretty enclosed garden with a patio seating area, a great spot for dining alfresco. Steps lead down to a further gravelled garden area planted with lovely climbing shrubs and lavender.

Colyton itself is a town steeped in history with winding streets and historic buildings and a range of independent shops including an award-winning local butcher, and a bakery, alongside welcoming pubs, coffee shops, and bistros.

The Seaton Tramway, a narrow gauge heritage tramway linking Colyton with Seaton, runs through miles of unspoilt countryside along the River Axe estuary and is a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the area.

Popular days out include Lyme Regis with its iconic Cobb harbour and family-friendly beaches or nearby Charmouth, with its Heritage Centre where you can learn about the Jurassic Coast join one of the guided fossil walks, and try your hand at finding your very own ammonites on the beach.

The fishing village of Beer is another great choice, with its limestone cliffs and beach, where it is easy to lose a few hours sitting in a deckchair watching the local fishermen hauling their catches ashore.

The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth is home to hundreds of donkeys and is open throughout the year, perfect for animal enthusiasts or a day out with the little ones.

However you wish to spend your holiday, Belfry Cottage is the ideal place to enjoy this and so much more.
