Blenheim Edge not only overlooks the Queen Pool and walkways in the Blenheim Estate, but it is situated on the main A44 Stratford to Oxford Road, also known as ‘Shakespeare’s Way’. It is believed Shakespeare left his home in Stratford-Upon-Avon for London between 1585 and 1588 and may have passed through Woodstock on his way to London, breaking his journey to stay in Oxford where he had friends. A short drive takes you to many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, the university town of Oxford as well as an abundance of National Trust properties.
