A homely feel greets you when you enter, with its snug sitting area and well-equipped kitchen making a great place for the group to relax and make plans. There is also a separate dining room where everyone can congregate to enjoy a sumptuous feast, with a toast to a much-needed getaway. As the night rolls in, retire to either the double or twin bedroom, each furnished in neutral tones and served by a refreshing bathroom. Step outside and delight in the lovely quiet patio, ideal for alfresco dining and long summer evenings. The local area offers fantastic outdoor activities; embark on a journey through Bodmin Moor, where footpaths trail across broad, sweeping landscapes, and two beautiful lakes are within easy driving distance, both offering great opportunities for fishing, cycling and watersports. For a more relaxed day, head into the market town of Liskeard and browse the independent shops, arts and heritage centre or visit the many notable buildings, including Victorian Guildhall, Regency Market Hall and St. Martin’s Church. From Liskeard you can catch a train to the fishing village of Looe and enjoy a journey full of beautiful views where the river meets the sea, or head further afield to the famous naval city of Plymouth for a memorable day out. With such a variety of things to do, Blue Sky Cottage is ideally located to offer an enjoyable holiday or short break at any time of year.
