Boundy’s House is a beautifully restored, Grade II listed cottage 3 miles from popular St Ives. Inside, this place is full of character with beams and a roaring open fire in the cosy sitting room inglenook. There’s a large, double-aspect lounge, with sofas and a chaise longue, so you’ll never want for somewhere to sit and relax. On the first floor are three bedrooms, two doubles, one with a king-size bed and a twin. Outside is a large and lovely enclosed garden with a neat lawn, a small pond and a table and chairs. Boundy’s House is in a popular area of west Cornwall and from here it’s easy to catch the coastal train to St Ives. Spend the day browsing the many interesting shops and galleries or on sunning yourself on one of the many excellent beaches. Further afield you can stroll along the prom and take in views of Mount’s Bay in Penzance, take in a show at the fabulous Minack cliff-top theatre in Porthcurno, or visit Land’s End for breathtaking scenery and family fun.
