When sleep calls, the first floor houses a super-king-size zip/link room for flexibility, a king-size with en-suite shower room and two twin rooms, all are furnished with ample storage for your belongings and are serviced by the ground-floor shower room or sleek family bathroom with whirlpool/jacuzzi bath. Be sure to get some well-earned rest before another fun-filled day in North Yorkshire. After taking advantage of the on-site facilities, you can venture to the centre of Tosside where you can enjoy, food, drinks, tea and desserts at The Old Vicarage Tea Rooms or head to the nearby town of Settle home to some of the most beautiful natural attractions in England, including the Scaleber Force Waterfall and Victoria Cave. In addition, Settle is home to some great restaurants and bars, including The Golden Lion and The Craven Arms which are great for the evenings when you don’t fancy cooking! Or take a short drive to Skipton, a historic market town with one of the oldest and largest markets in the UK that has been held in the town centre since 1204. Skipton Castle, built in 1090, is one of the most well-preserved castles in England and is open to the public for tours and events; refuel at The Woolly Sheep Inn, a traditional English pub serving locally-sourced food and drink. The Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales National Park lie close to the cottage and are bursting with trails, walks to explore and breath-taking views to admire.
