The nearby village of Seahouses is a beautiful spot to base a holiday, offering an attractive harbour to explore, alongside a good selection of shops, inns, pubs and eateries, there’s plenty here to keep you entertained. Embark on a waterfront adventure and take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands where you can visit a bird sanctuary and spot seals for a truly memorable experience, or walk down the promenade to nearby Bamburgh with its imposing castle, RNLI Grace Darling museum and golf club. Alnwick also offers an exquisite castle, as well as an art gallery and gardens to roam, making it an extremely scenic day trip, or simply stroll along the coast and spend time relaxing on one of the area’s many beaches with your loved ones amidst.
