There are some wonderful walks from the cottage, one in particular, where you can amble through the abandoned slate mines of the Rhosydd Quarry is stunning, and the scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. The famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway, Zipworld Titan and Caverns, the longest 4 man zip in Europe, and Bounce Below, an underground trampoline, and the magnificent slate caverns at Llechwedd, are all close by. There really is something for everyone within this superb area of North Wales.
