Throughout this cottage, there is a lovely mix of traditional features with a clever blend of modern design, ideal for a family looking to explore the stunning Welsh countryside. Upon entering the property, you are welcomed to a well-appointed living room, posing stunning slate flag floors and charming exposed beams. In here you can snuggle up with your loved ones in the cosy sitting area in front of a warming inglenook fireplace with a woodburning fire. The kitchen boasts a traditional style, featuring a formal dining area and all the necessities you will need during your stay. Down one step into the elegantly design ground floor bedroom, featuring twin beds and carefully selected interiors to match. The downstairs bathroom has been finished with a luxurious touch, housing a spacious walk-in shower, a separate bathtub, basin and WC. Follow the traditional crog loft stairs up to the second elegantly decorated bedroom, boasting a double bed and a large skylight window, filling the space with a bright natural light. Outside guests will have use of an off-road parking, situated on a quaint yard, as well as an enclosed back garden, ideal for spending your summer mornings in before dipping into the warming hot tub. The local shop is situated within the charming village of Boncath, with the closest pub and restaurant situated 2.5 miles from the property. To keep you busy whilst staying at Bwthyn Lan, you can visit the National Trust’s Cilgerran Castle, a striking 13th-century castle with overlooking views of Teifi Gorge, found within a 10-minute drive of the property. For more adventurous activities, why not go canoeing on the lower Teifi? As you go along, you can expect to see native wildlife, including beautiful Kingfishers and on a good day, Otters.
