Surrounded by some wonderful scenic countryside on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, this delightful cottage offers an ideal base for couples who love the outdoors with walks in abundance. Celyn Farm Cottage has wonderful charm and appeal combined with character attributes, such as whitewashed stone walls and exposed beams. The living accommodation is open plan with the sitting area enjoying a high-pitched ceiling with exposed purlins and timbers extenuating the feeling of space. The warm and welcoming woodburning stove, with a most unusual log basket, provides a relaxing atmosphere in cooler months and is a perfect place to curl up together and watch a favourite film. There is also the useful added benefit of a pulleymaid above the woodburner where you can dry ample amounts of clothing after days out and about. The kitchen is fresh and modern with and a Belfast sink and there is small but functional shower room tucked in just off the kitchen. Upstairs the crog loft provides you with a quirky bedroom with sloping ceilings, restricted head height, low level double bed and a great view over the sitting area. Outside there is a courtyard with seating to take in the wonderful views where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee. There are superb walks and cycle trails all around, which offer stunning mountain and coastal views, including those that lead to the Marchlyn Mawr Reservoir and the northern slopes of Elidir Fawr. Lanberis is four miles away where you can enjoy the Lake Railway which runs alongside the banks of Llyn Padarn, whilst Llanberis itself has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is the gateway to the stunning Mount Snowdon. This lovely cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and beyond all year round.
