Enjoying a peaceful location in the unspoilt village of Stanhoe, Cherry Tree Cottage is a charming Georgian era brick and flint period cottage showcasing many original features, such as exposed wooden beams and an inglenook fireplace. Located within a short walk of the award-winning village gastro pub and a mere five minute drive from the coast, this stylish rural cottage also boasts a large secluded garden – perfect for evening barbecues and lawn games. Cherry Tree Cottage brims with character inside and out. Beamed ceilings and walls that feature in most rooms are blended with a clever use of retro-style furniture, interesting artworks, and funky lighting sets this quirky and quaint little cottage apart from the coastal norm. Cosy and comfortable, the accommodation is set over two floors. On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, an adjoining dining room that connects to the kitchen, and a snug that can be used as a quiet work space or reading room. A well-equipped galley style kitchen with utility area overlooks and has access to the rear garden. A downstairs shower room completes the floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (king-size, double, and twin) and a family bathroom. Outside, the cottage is blessed with gardens to front and rear, with the latter overlooking beautiful meadowland. If you don’t feel like straying too far, you can make full use of the barbecue, or simply take a seat and enjoy getting lost in a good book. Cherry Tree Cottage is a romantic retreat for a couple or two, and equally suitable for friends and families. And don't forget your dogs – they will love the many local and coastal walks as much as you! With the beautiful Georgian village of Burnham Market just down the road hosting boutique shops and eateries galore, the stunning North Norfolk coastline not too far away, and a superb selection of places to eat, drink and visit on the doorstep, you are sure find something to suit everyone.
