Clyd Fan is a well-presented detached bungalow set in the heart of Harlech, a historic coastal village on the west coast of North Wales within Snowdonia National Park. Ideal for families and groups of friends, it offers an enclosed garden, thoughtful facilities for all ages and a convenient position between the coast and the mountains, making it a great base for days out in the Welsh countryside. Step inside via the striking red front door and into a bright living and dining room, where a large picture window brings in plenty of natural light. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for home cooking and leads through to a spacious conservatory at the rear, complete with additional seating, a TV and a second dining area for relaxed mealtimes together. There are three neatly presented bedrooms to choose from, including a king-size, a twin and a bunk room. The bunk room also features a cot bed, ideal for younger guests. Outside, the enclosed rear garden enjoys a sunny aspect for much of the day, offering a pleasant spot for drinks and alfresco dining during warmer months. A bus stop is located nearby, while Harlech railway station is within walking distance, providing access along the scenic Cambrian Coast line. From the doorstep, guests can enjoy a variety of walks, with an open park, nature garden and woodland close by. A visit to Harlech Castle is well worth your time, while the village high street offers a selection of independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. The sandy beach and dunes lie within easy reach, and golfers can enjoy a round at Royal St David’s Golf Club, one of the country’s finest links courses. Further afield, the seaside town of Barmouth offers a sweeping beach and lively promenade, while Porthmadog provides access to the heritage Ffestiniog Railway. For something more adventurous, head to Zip World Llechwedd for zip lines and underground experiences, or explore the distinctive village of Portmeirion with its colourful architecture and landscaped gardens. Clyd Fan is a comfortable and well-located base for exploring North Wales throughout the year.
