In Cawsand, a stone’s throw from the beach, a 17th cent., Grade II listed cottage over two floors, its interesting past hinted at by the smugglers’ tunnel cleverly disguised in an under-stair cupboard. Once also the village sweet shop, it nestles alongside sister cottages on a narrow lane behind the square with just occasional vehicles passing. Just right for a couple or small family.
