Pubs, shops and beach 200 metres. One well behaved dog welcome. Note: Crab Cottage sits on a terrace cut into banks of historic Fore Street, there are 10 steps up from the road to the terrace and there are a further 30 steps to climb to appreciate the magnificent views from the garden.

Whether it is walking the coastal path, taking a boat trip from
Ilfracombe’s vibrant harbour or visiting the fascinating Tunnels Beaches – you will find everything is just a short stroll away from Crab Cottage.
Ilfracombe is also a great place to base yourself to explore all North
Devon has to offer including great surfing, wonderful walks or
appreciating one of the quaint villages that are within easy reach.
After a day out you will return to a cosy and well equipped cottage. On the cooler days you might light the living room stove and curl up in front of the smart TV. artwork displayed, the majority of which has been bought from the many art and craft shops that Ilfracombe artists operate from.
Step out of Crab Cottage and take advantage of the numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants that can be found in easy walking distance. Drop into the museum, aquarium, theatre or cinema. Take in the views from the top of Capstone hill or Lantern Hill which overlooks Damien Hirst’s Verity statue. At Crab Cottage you will find so much on your doorstep.
